My name is Anna Wright. I blog to share my experiences and insights while I travel. Who am I? I am creative and energetic: I like to express myself through writing and photography, I study music with a special love for cello, and I am a recreational runner with a passion for humanity and a soft spot for macaroni and cheese.
I was raised in Upper Michigan and central Wisconsin. This has given me a fierce love of nature and a desire to experience the rest of America and the entire world. I began this blog in high school while studying abroad on a scholarship from the U.S. State Department in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina . I am currently studying Agricultural and Applied Economics and Environmental Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I fill up the rest of my time by working for F.H. King for Sustainable Agriculture, by embracing the urban gardening scene here in Madison, and by exploring anywhere and everywhere.
In order to share my ever-changing perspective of the world, I’ve given up on the Luddite movement and focused my energy into understanding the marvels of the modern world.
