Hello everyone! In the coming school year, I will be hosted in the beautiful city of Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, thanks to the generosity of the US State Department. Here’s a link to the very cool program that is sponsoring me: http://www.yesprograms.org/yesabroad . Actually, my phone went off in history large group but no one heard it, so I forgot to check it until I was sitting in my driveway and trying to force my sad little yellow car into reverse, at which point I discovered the text was from my dad, telling me I would be moving to Bosnia and Herzegovina! So this is a big thank you to everyone who helped me get to Denver, particularly my parents, the teachers who wrote letters of recommendation, and especially Mr. Buch, who let me throw a huge wrench in the Prague trip.
I’ve created this blog (my first, so I am sure I will have many mishaps along the way, and don’t be surprised if you can’t find it for a day or two!) so that you will be able to keep up with my adventures and misadventures next year. This way, I won’t have to worry about who will want to receive e-mail updates. Instead, you can just check the blog if you feel like it! Take care, and I will be sure to update you on when I leave, return and what I’ll be doing as soon as I know.
